DEVI Fitness: What DEVI Represents
Like the Hindu goddess, DEVI represents the most feminized and vibrant form of the divine: the woman.
The vibrant woman is a manifestation that one cannot miss.
Thus, DEVI Fitness was created by a woman,
for women who want to look and feel their best.

DISCOVER refers to knowledge of self. You can be in a state of discovery with yourself and life through exploration. Be open-minded and say yes to new opportunities.This could look like: traveling out of the country, learning about different cultures, learning a new language or trade, journaling, reading self-help books, watching educational videos, prayer, being creative and conversing with people who think differently from you.

ENERGY comes in different forms but we are referring to the training style and method. We can unlock our energy through an invigorating movement practice such as dance, yoga, sprinting, and strength training. Since energy is neither created nor destroyed only transferred, when we expend energy through our training, we have to then receive "new" energy through rest and relaxation.

VITALITY represents the foods and practices that fuel our minds and bodies. What you consume influences how you think and feel. We can increase our vitality by spending more time in the sun, walking barefoot in the sand or grass, eating a plant-based diet, drinking enough water daily, and living in harmony with our neighbors and the environment.

INSPIRATION is first and foremost our breath. That which gives us life. Our life is our artwork. We can be more inspired by having a meditation practice, sitting with our feelings, paying attention to our inner voice (our heart-space or intuition), practicing mindfulness and being in the present moment, being grateful, freely creating art, and being in the flow with life.
